In an ultra-technological world, artificial intelligence has developed strongly and is omnipresent in our society. Humans are in a symbiotic relationship with technology and it has become an integral part of our identity.

Memora is a fictional app that enables users to scan and save their own memories in order to relive and rediscover lost memories. Among other things, it makes it possible to explore memories of other users and memories created by the AI itself via a platform in order to implant them in oneself and thus experience new moments and perhaps create a new identity.

This work examines artificial intelligence and its integration with humans in a broader sense.

Finale 23

Diplome

After three years of virtual or hybrid exhibition formats, a final exhibition was held at Fellerstrasse 11 in Bümpliz for the first time again in 2023. However, the pandemic not only led to the establishment of new forms of exhibiting. Of course, the crisis also had a direct impact on the studies of many students: They hardly saw each other on site, often worked alone and moved almost exclusively in virtual space. This also led to many students wanting to extend their time at HKB. This year in July, twelve students graduated from the Visual Communication programme. You can find their work here:
